I started studying the violin at the age of eight. After several years of lessons in school I was fortunate enough to start studying privately with Keith Mosedale a former professional with the Halle Orchestra and a very prominent pedagogue in the Staffordshire and Cheshire area. He inspired me to work hard and introduced me to his former teacher Rudolph Botta, Senior Lecturer at the Royal Northern College of Music. I studied with both of them for many years and achieved a Diploma in Violin Performance.

During my studies with Rudolph Botta he actively encouraged me to perform on stage, entering me into music festivals and providing me with many opportunities to perform as a soloist with his chamber orchestra. This was an invaluable experience which gave me the confidence to perform in front of large audiences.

I love to perform and to bring music into peoples lives. I feel very fortunate in being able to do the job I do, whether it is playing in a concert, large arts festival or making someones wedding day unique and memorable!
